The St Julien has formed a Green Committee whose goal is to spearhead efforts that will reduce the Hotel's footprint on the community — all while maintaining the high level of service and quality demanded by our guests.
The Alliance Center brings together non-profit, business, government and education sectors to work together to create sustainability solutions.
This tour will showcase how the Center has worked together with vendors to conserve energy, the specific improvements that were made and how they impacted the bottom line.
The Alliance Center will ultimately be a Net Zero building when Photovoltaics are added to the roof.
Living City Block Launching summer 2010 in Lower Downtown Denver, Living City Block is a multi-phased redevelopment project that will prove the case for making our cities radically more resource efficient, one block at a time. We will demonstrate a business model and economic development opportunity while fostering a thriving local community.

Simple Solar has designed, installed, and financed solar solutions for hundreds of customers in Denver, Boulder and throughout the Colorado Front Range for over a decade.
At the Casey Middle School in Boulder, Simple Solar built as 26.78kW system designed to provide 2.5 % of the school’s average annual electricity usage. This system is expected to pay for itself in less than 10* years and prevent 10,000* kg of carbon entering the atmosphere.
